Your 1st Year Guarantee - Help us to help you
Your new appliance comes with our 12 month guarantee protecting you against electrical and
mechanical breakdown. Please see over for terms and conditions.
It is important to register the purchase of your appliance in order to ensure that you receive prompt and
efficient assistance in the event of it requiring attention during the guarantee period.
Please note: the first year guarantee and the registration thereof is valid only for appliances installed
within the UK and EIRE.
IMPORTANT: You must register within 30 days
SMEG GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
We, Smeg, undertake that if within 12 months of the date of purchase this Smeg appliance or any part
thereof is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, we will at our
discretion repair or replace the same FREE OF ANY CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage on
condition that:
• The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity or gas supply stated on
the rating plate.
• The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes only, and in accordance with the
manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.
• The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any
person not authorised by us.
• All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by Smeg Service,Tel: [phone]
• Any appliance or defective part replaced shall become Smeg’s property.
