Cleaning and maintenance We recommend wearing rubber gloves for these operations. We recommend removing the door in order to make the manual cleaning of the parts that are difficult to reach easier. Pyrolytic: automatic oven cavity cleaning (on some models only) Pyrolytic cleaning is an automatic, high-temperature cleaning procedure that causes dirt to dissolve. Thanks to this process, it is possible to clean the inside of the oven very easily.
Cleaning and maintenance • For very stubborn encrustations spray an oven cleaning product onto the glass (read the warnings on the product); leave for 60 minutes, then rinse and dry the glass using kitchen roll or a microfibre cloth. • Remove the temperature probe (if present). • Remove the rack/tray support frames. • Close the door. 3. Select the most appropriate setting for the automatic cleaning of the oven cavity. Pyrolytic function setting 1. Touch the OTHER FUNCTIONS button on the “main menu”. 2.
Cleaning and maintenance button to start the It is not possible to start the pyrolytic cycle if the temperature probe is plugged in. The appliance will emit an error signal each time the START button is pressed. Two minutes after the pyrolytic cycle has started, the door is locked (the symbol appears on the display) by a device that prevents the door from being opened. It is not possible to select any function once the door lock device has been activated.
Cleaning and maintenance 4.4 Cleaning the water circuit Descaling The presence of scale due to lack of descaling can compromise correct operation of the appliance in the long term. The following message will appear on the display from time to time to indicate that you should carry out the boiler descaling procedure: 2. Fill a jug with a descaling solution (e.g. dilute citric acid). It is recommended to mix 100 g of citric acid in 250 ml of water. Note: Do not use lactic acid. 3. Open the door completely.
Cleaning and maintenance The display will show the time left until the end of the descaling cycle. EN 7. Place the end at the bottom of the jug. When the process has finished, a buzzer will sound and the display will show the descaling solution draining screen. 8. Touch the START button to start filling the reservoir with the descaler solution. 9. Open the oven door. 10. Place a jug on the open door. 11. Extract the tube from its seat and insert the end of it into the jug.
Cleaning and maintenance 12. Touch the START button to start draining the solution into the jug. When finished, the display indicates the end of the descaling procedure and the start of the rinsing process. 13. Shake the tube to remove any remaining solution. 14. Prepare a jug containing water to continue with the rinsing procedure. 15. Touch the CONFIRM button to start the rinsing procedure (see section “Cleaning the reservoir (Rinse)“.
Cleaning and maintenance Manual descaling When you wish to perform descaling in advance, you can run the function manually: EN Note: The descaling process can be skipped three consecutive times. 1. Touch the OTHER FUNCTIONS button on the “main menu”. After this, the appliance will not allow you to run any other function until the descaling process is performed. 2. Scroll through the menu towards the left and select the DESCALING function. 3. The descaling screen will appear on the display. 4.
