AT ALL TIMES FOLLOW THE BASIC FIREARMS SAFE-
TY RULES IN THE SECTION ENTITLED “YOUR SAFETY
RESPONSIBILITIES”.
The Insight
®
Laser must be
removed from the firearm
before inspecting, cleaning,
replacing batteries, or per-
forming other maintenance
functions.
•  Loosen the captive hex
screw completely by turn-
ing it counterclockwise as
viewed from the front of
the sight (Figure A2). This
screw holds the Insight
®
Laser to the frame.
After the hex screw is fully
loosened, remove the
Insight
®
Laser from the
frame by pulling it out and
away from the frame of
the BODYGUARD
®
38 (Figure A3).
