XRC Front Bumper

Front Bumper 1 8 mm Hex Bolt (Fairlead) 2
½ x 1 1/4 “ Bolt 6 8 mm (I.D.) Flat Washer 2
½” Flat Washer 6 8mm Locking Nut 2
Step 1: Remove the factory front bumper from vehicle by removing the two top and the two bottom bolts.
(Figure A) Save these bolts for use later.

Note: On YJs (87-95) it may be necessary to grind down the welds slightly on top of the frame in order to
get the bumper to slide back over the frame and align mounting holes.
Step 2: Position the new bumper on the front of the vehicle. Line up the holes on the frame with the slotted
holes on the bumper brackets. Attach the bumper to the frame using the supplied bolts. (Fig B,C)
