PLACE THE CARTON ON A LEVEL FLOOR IN AN OPEN AREA. REMOVE THE UPPER CARTON FROM YOUR TREADMILL AND CUT DOWN THE CORNERS OF THE LOWER CARTON, AS SHOWN IN FIG 1. MAKE SURE TO FIRST CONNECT THE WIRES AS SHOWN. THEN, SIMPLY HAVE ONE PERSON HOLD THE HANDLE UPRIGHTS (6 AND 7) IN PLACE ON THE BASE FRAME (1) WHILE THE OTHER SECURES IT WITH ALLEN BOLTS (17).

SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT LEVEL ADJUSTMENT: Uneven flooring could cause the SPRING KNOBS not to engage and thus prevent the Smooth 9.25HR from either not folding or make it unable to incline. To adjust the levelers follow these instructions: You will need someone to help you with this procedure, as you will need to tip the treadmill on its side. Tip the treadmill to the left/right. You will then see the LEVEL ADJUSTERS.
SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS MOVING YOUR TREADMILL: There are TRANSPORT WHEELS located under the front of the base frame of your Smooth 9.25HR treadmill. The easiest way to move the treadmill is to lift the deck up from the rear until the TRANSPORT WHEELS touch the floor. ("Smooth Fitness") warrants to the original purchaser that each new product to be free from defects in workmanship and material, under normal use and conditions. Period of Coverage: The Warranty on this product runs from the date of your purchase for a period of LIFETIME on the frame, TEN (10) years on the motor, FIVE (5) years on the belt, deck and rollers and THREE (3) years on the electronics.

SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL TARGET HEART RATE Finding your pulse: To make sure your heart is beating in its target zone, you’ll need to know how to monitor your heart rate. The easiest way is to feel the pulse in the carotid artery on either side of your neck, between the windpipe and the large neck muscles. Count the number of beats in ten seconds, and then multiply that number by six. This gives you the number of beats per minute.

SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL STRETCHING ROUTINE Warm up and cool down: A successful exercise program consists of a warm-up, aerobic exercise, and a cool-down. Do the entire program at least two and preferably three times a week, resting for a day between workouts. After several months, you can increase your workouts to four or five times per week. Warming up is an important part of your workout, and should begin every session.
SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL STRETCHING ROUTINE Hamstring Stretch: Sit with your right leg extended. Rest the sole of your left foot against your right inner thigh. Stretch toward your toe as far as possible. Hold for 15 counts. Relax and then repeat with left leg extended. Inner Thigh Stretch: Sit with the soles of your feet together with your knees pointing outward. Pull your feet as close into your groin as possible. Gently push your knees towards the floor. Hold for 15 counts.
SMOOTH 9.25HR MOTORIZED TREADMILL TROUBLESHOOTING Troubleshooting NOTE: Do not touch any internal electric wires without consulting the manufacturer. No display on the Computer LED, after the power is switched on: 1. Make sure the power cord has been plugged in properly to the power switch on the base frame and mains power socket. 2. Make sure the safety key is inserted properly into the safety key slot on the console. Try pulling it in and out several times until the LED lights up.
