7.1 3D Printing
7.1.1 Clean the glass printing board
Remove the consumables residues
Maintain the scene
If you use a sticky 3D printing consumables, or if the nozzle is too close to the printing platform, some of the
consumables may stick to the surface of the printing board. Failure to clean up in time may affect the result of
the next print. As the residues continue to stack, the print board will also become more difficult to clean up.
Maintenance frequency
After each printing session.
Maintenance method
1. Prepare the cleaning tools: the spatula;
2. Gently scrape the consumables residue on the glass printing board with a spatula;
When cleaning, the Angle between the blade and the glass printing plate should
be less than 30° to avoid damage to the surface of the printing plate.
If it is still difficult to remove the residue with a spatula, you can click on the
Control> Hot bed on the touch screen and heat the hot bed to 50
℃
before trying
to scrape it. It is recommended to wear gloves during operation to avoid hot
temperature.
3. Scrscraping to the plate without consumable residues, the cleaning is completed.
Remove solid glue
Maintain the scene
Apply an appropriate amount of washable solid glue on the glass printing board before printing to enhance
the adhesion effect of the first layer of the print material. However, after the printing ends, if the residual
solid glue on the plate surface is not cleaned up in time, it may affect the result of the next printing.
Maintenance frequency
After applying the solid glue on the printing board each time.
