ASSEMBLY
Your generator requires some assembly and is ready for
use after it has been properly serviced with the
recommended oil and fuel.
If you have any problems with the assembly of your
generator, please call the generator heIpline at
1=800=317-7833. [f calling for assistance, please have the
model, revision, and serial number from the data tag available.
Unpacking= the Generator
I. Set the carton on a rigid flat surface.
2. Remove everything from carton except generator.
3. Open carton completely by cutting each corner from
top to bottom.
4. Leave generator on carton to install wheel kit.

Check all contents against those listed below:
• Main unit
• Engine oil
• Operator's manual
• Engine operator's manual
• Wheel kit
If any parts are missing or damaged, call the generator
helpline at 1=800=317=7833.
Install Wheel [(it
NOTE: Wheel kit is not intended for over=the=road use.
You wiJl need the following tools to install these
components:
• 2 = 1/2" or 13mm wrench
• 15/16" wrench
• Pliers
install the wheel Idt as follows (Figure I):
I. Place bottom of generator cradle on a fiat surface.
2. Tip generator so that engine end is up.
3. Place axle stud through wheel retainer on cradle
frame.
4. Use [5/16" wrench to secure axle stud to frame with
5/8-18 jam nut.
5. Install other axle stud in same manner.
6. Install wheels on axle studs. Place flat washer over axle
studs.
NOTE: Be sure to install wheels with raised hub inboard.
7. Retain wheels on axle studs with retaining pins.
8. Tip generator so that engine side is down.
9. Attach support leg using two I/2" or 13mm wrenches
with M8 x 20 mm capscrews and M8 loci< nuts.
