Turbo Installation

1. Remove and discard existing baffle from the left side

of the mower deck. It is replaced by turbo baffles.

2. Install the left (23-1/2” long) baffle and right (26-1/2”

front baffle (A and B, Figure 1) using six carriage

bolts (C), lockwashers (D), and nuts (E). Be sure the

bolts are inserted fully into the slots in the mower

deck.

E. 5/16-18 Nuts

1. Remove the deflector, spring, and hinge assembly.

Use a hammer to drive the carriage bolts back

through the deck, and discard the deflector.

2. Install the hook plate (A, Figure 2) below the stone

guard (located at the bottom of the discharge open-

ing) using two carriage bolts (B) and flange locknuts

(C). Install bolts from the bottom up.

3. Install retainer nut (D) on hook plate.

WARNING

Before beginning any service work turn off the

PTO, set the parking brake, turn off the ignition,

and disconnect the spark plug wire(s).
