Installation Tips WARNING Always turn off the SPA200 Power Amplifier when connecting the subwoofer, speakers, or any other components to the system. The AMC Sub 88 must be used with the Snell Acoustics SPA200 Power Amplifier. It is the nature of low-frequency energy (bass) to cause objects to vibrate. Care should be taken in planning the installation of an in-wall subwoofer to minimize the risk of room vibration and noise. Some bass energy will be heard and felt in the room behind the installation.

If there is already insulation and it has a paper backing facing the speaker, remove the backing in the area behind the speaker. (Consult local building codes for compliance.

The VRi Subwoofer jack will accept either bare wire up to 12-gauge or single banana plugs. 2. Connect the wire to the subwoofer. 3. Slide the subwoofer into the cutout as shown. 4.

Care should be taken in setting the crossover frequency and volume level so that you operate the system in a way that does not produce distortion.
