Admin and Installation Guide M700, M300 Setting Up
Ceiling mounting
NOTE: For ceiling mounting, the separately available ceiling plate (PN 00003933) is
necessary.
Do not attempt to mount the base under the ceiling without the ceiling plate. The base
station will fall o!
1. Bolt the ceiling plate to the ceiling with the four screw anchors and screws provided.
2. Pull o the footstand of the M700 (see Fig. 2 on page 17).
3. Plug the Ethernet cable into the jack on the back of the M700 and place it firmly into the cable
guide.
4. Place the M700 underneath the ceiling plate so that the three holes marked
C
(see Fig. 1 on
page 16) are directly beneath the three hooks on the ceiling plate.
5. Push the M700 upward so that the hooks go into the holes.
6. Slide the M700 towards the angled "foot" of the ceiling plate (marked
F
in Fig. 5, below) until the
two nibs on the bottom of the M700 protrude slightly from the two middle holes of the "foot" and
the M700 audibly clicks into place on the plate.
