Initial Settings
Servers
During the initialization, the default server settings are loaded automatically. For a description of the
settings, see "Servers" on page 55.
Language, Country, and Time/Date
The Country page contains drop-down menus for the selection of your country, a state or region
within that country, if applicable, and the language to be used on the web interface of the base station.
There are also two checkboxes for the settings Set timezone by country/region and Set DST by
country/region. By default, the checkboxes are ticked. This means that the time zone and the
daylight saving time (DST) are set automatically to the country and, if applicable, the state/region of
that country you selected.
Selecting country, region, and language
1. Select your country from the drop-down menu.
For some countries like the US and Australia, state or region options aecting time zone and DST
settings can also be selected. Select your state/region from the drop-down menu.
2. Select the language for the web interface of the base station from the drop-down menu. The
default is English.
3. If you do not want to select the time zone of the country/region selected in step 1, tick the
checkbox of Set timezone by country/region to disable the automatic setting.
If you want to disable DST, tick the checkbox of Set DST by country/region to uncheck it.
Note: Ticking the checkboxes will result in checking and unchecking them on both the
Country page and the Time page.
When the automatic settings are disabled, time and DST can be set manually on the
Time page.
4. Click on Save.
