10. Bluetooth (NOT 2 SERIES)
This Snooper is equipped with Bluetooth functionality. You can use it as a
hands free system for a mobile phone that is equipped with Bluetooth.
Press the centre of the screen to enter the ‘Navigate to’ menu.
Press theConfigure button.
Press the ‘Bluetooth icon.
The phone menu screen is displayed:
Dialing Opens the keypad for dialing.
Phonebook Displays contact list of paired
phonebook (not compatible with all phone types).
Call History Displays current call history.
A2DP Advance Audio Distribution Profile.
For steaming music via Bluetooth
(supported devices only).
SMS View SMS messages (supported phones only).
DUN Bluetooth Dial Up Networking – allows tethering to a
compatible mobile phone.
Pair/connect Shows paired, connected devices and menu for
adding new devices.
Pairing
Please ensure that Bluetooth is active and that the phone is in discovery mode’
(refer to the mobile phone user guide for instructions) before starting
the pairing process.
Not all mobile devices are compatible with all of the features of the Snooper
To switch Bluetooth On press the BT icon.
Note: If this icon is shown then BT is Off press to switch BT On
If this icon is shown then BT is already On
Press Pair/Connect: the following screen will be displayed.
1 State: Paired or Unpaired. This shows if the device is currently paired with a BT device.
2 Device name: Shows the name of the navigation device.
3 This can be changed by pressing the Modify the name button.
4 PIN: Displays the current PIN number.
5 This can be changed by pressing the Modify the PIN button.
Press ‘Search to discover compatible BT devices.
A list of discovered’ Bluetooth devices will be shown.
Click the device you wish to pair with (6) followed by the Connect button.
Enter the 4 digit (5) PIN number on the BT device to complete the pairing process.
Additional steps may be required on the BT device to compete the process (refer to
the manufacturer for specific instructions).
Once pairing has completed press the return button (8).
