User Points are displayed on the map as Green Camera icons
For S7000 to alert you to a user point correctly the user point will
need to be edited with the correct information such as the user point
type and speed. (the direction is saved automatically). Please refer to
4.3.1 Editing User Points for full editing instructions.
9.4.1 Troubleshooting – Saving New User Points
When you attempt to save the new User Point and the Information
window with ‘Save user point?’ is not displayed it means that the memory in S7000 is completely full. If you want to store any
different coordinates, you will have to either delete some or all of the existing coordinates stored in the unit’s memory.
If you have subscribed and downloaded the AURA™ camera database on to S7000 you will be unable to store User points if your
are in close proximity to fixed cameras which are already in the database and are shown as

9.5 Fixed Camera Pre-Alert Setting
The pre-alert setting means that you will receive an audible and a visual alert of a fixed speed camera or risk zone at an
automatically preset distance when utilising GPS. Auto-range simply selects the correct alert distance to each camera detected
depending on the speed limit of the road the camera is situated on. The different alert distances are shown below.
