DVB-T Portable Digital Television
Please note that this function will only work in areas with a digital TV broadcast. Reception will vary depending on the
strength of signal being transmitted in your region. Adding an extension DVB-T antenna can improve reception and can be
purchased separately.
Programming and searching for channels
To view DVB-T, firstly extract the DVB-T antenna and then enter the Main menu
and press the DVB-T button. Next press the SET button and followed by the
REGION button. Select the region you are in and then press the back arrow in the
top right hand corner of the screen to return to the previous screen. Then press
the SCAN button followed by the START button. The S7000 will then begin to scan
for the channels available in your area.
When Progress reaches 100% the S7000 will have finished scanning for channels.
The number of TV and Radio channels found will be displayed on the left hand
side of the screen. A list of channels found can be viewed on the right hand side
of the screen.
Please note that the number of channels found is dependent on the
quality of the digital TV service in your area. If no channels are
displayed repeat the process and start the scanning process again.
DVB-T will only operate in areas with a digital TV broadcast.
Viewing DVB-T TV and Radio channels
Once the S7000 is displaying a list of channels in the Program List press the
back arrow in the top right hand corner of the screen. This takes you back to
the DVB-T SET screen, press the back arrow again to take you to the DVB-T main
menu screen. Double click on the channel you would like to watch and if there
is sufficient signal strength the channel will appear in the small viewing window
on the left hand side of the screen. To watch the program in full screen mode
simply press on this window once. Touch the screen again to return to the
DVB-T main menu screen.
DVB-T main menu features
1. Volume control
Adjust the volume by pressing the minus button to reduce the volume or the
plus button to increase the volume.
2. EPG
Press this button to view program information of the channel highlighted in
the program list
3. SET
Press this button to enter the channel scanning mode and DVB-T settings.
4. TV
Shows a list of TV channels that are currently available to view in your area
5. Radio
Shows a list of Radio channels that are currently available to view in your area
