Once you have pressed ‘Go’ the Syrius Plus will now display
your current map position along with a small summary
screen located in the bottom left hand corner. The following
information is displayed on the summary screen:
l Stage 1/4 - indicates this is the rst destination of the
journey
l Distance to rst destination
l Estimated time of arrival to rst destination.
l At the bottom of the screen the following information is
displayed
l Total distance of multi-route journey
l Estimated time of arrival at the end of multi-route journey.
If, during the journey, you wish to cancel the current stage and begin travelling to the next stage in your multi-route journey
press the summary screen in the bottom left hand corner of the display and the message ‘Delete current stage?’ will be
displayed. Press ‘OK’ and the unit will calculate your route to the next stage in the multi-route from your current position.
Note: If the Syrius Plus is turned ‘OFF’ and then ‘ON’ during a multi-route journey the device will retain the
current route and ask you if you wish to continue with the current destination or with the next stage of the
destination or to cancel the multi-route.

The Syrius Plus has the capacity to store up to 100 user locations. To add your favourite locations see section 4.1 on
page 26.
l To navigate to one of your stored locations:
l Press the centre of the screen to enter the ‘Navigate to’ menu.
l Press the ‘Find by Favourites’ icon.
l Select the favourite you wish to navigate to from the list provided.
The information about your chosen favourite is displayed.
l To start the journey press ‘Calculate’
l To change the route parameters press ‘Route Option’ (see Route Options on page 35 for specic instructions).
l To view the location of the favourite, press ‘Map’.
l To return to the previous page press the return arrow
located on the bottom right hand corner of the display.
Once the calculation is complete you can either press ‘Go’ to start navigation, ‘Simulation’ to see the actual route that
will be taken, ‘Route Option’ to change the parameters of the route or ‘Guide’ which will list the turn by turn instructions
of the journey. The ‘Summary Screen’ will tell you the distance to your destination, estimated time of arrival and the
estimated time it will take to complete your journey.
Please note: The summary screen is only displayed for approximately 10 seconds before the unit automatically
begins to provide you with turn-by-turn instructions.
