Delivery Contents
Unpack the equipment and check that all of the following parts
are present:
• Container lid
• Metal container
• Metal container
• Flexible metal suction hose
• Aluminum suction tube
• Pleated lter (already mounted)
• Wire lter basket (already mounted)
Dispose of the packaging material in a proper manner.
Assembly

WARNING! Disconnect the plug before carrying out
any work on the equipment. Failure to do so can result in
electric shock.
Positioning the Assist Handle
1. Check that the pleated lter and the wire lter basket
are securely mounted in the correct position (Fig. 3).
2. Place the container lid on the metal container and close
it using the seal clips (Fig. 4).
3. Connect the suction hose to the metal container. To do
this, insert the rotatable plastic end piece of the suction
hose (the end with the printed symbol) into the hose
connection and screw it in until the hose is securely
afxed to the canister (bayonet connection). See Fig. 5.
NOTE: When assembling/detaching the suction hose,
hold the black plastic end piece, not the metal suction
hose. Twisting or bending the hose could damage it.
4. Insert the suction tube onto the rigid end piece of the
suction hose (Fig. 6).
Switching ON/OFF
1. Connect the mains plug.
NOTE: The equipment is tted with a safety stop
switch, which allows for operation only when the
pleated lter and wire lter basket are installed
correctly.
To switch the unit on:
Set the On/Off switch (Fig. 7) to position “ –”.
To switch the unit off:
Set the On/Off switch to position “o”.
