Software Installation Instructions
These instructions apply to both Connect!Agent and modem software
installation, which require separate installs.
ADVANCED USERS: For CAB file installation, please refer to Appendix D.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure you have ActiveSync 4.0 or greater. You can
download it free from
www.socketcom.com/activesync.
1. Use ActveSync and a USB/serial/Ethernet cable or cradle to make an
active connection between the Pocket PC and a host PC.
ActiveSync should report Connected, and the ActiveSync icon should
turn green.

2. Insert the Socket 56K Modem Installation CD into the host PC.
3. Use My Computer or Windows Explorer to access your CD-ROM drive.
Click on the Setup.exe file for either Connect!Agent or the modem
software.
