All Other Bluetooth Hardware and Software
These are generic instructions. Refer to the user documentation for your
Bluetooth hardware/software for specific instructions.
1. Turn on the Cordless 56K Modem by pushing the power switch up. To
run the modem on AC power, use the included AC adapter.
2. If your Pocket PC does not have a built-in Bluetooth radio, make sure to
add it now with a removable card/adapter.
3. On your Pocket PC, perform a Bluetooth device search until you find the
Socket Cordless Modem. If your software allows you to, you may want
to search for only phone devices (the modem is classified as a phone).
4. Pair and bond with the Cordless 56K Modem. Enter the passkey for
your modem. The passkey is printed on a sticker on the back of the
modem, as well as inside the battery door.
Note: You only need to discover, bond with, and pair with the modem
the first time you use it.
5. After the devices have connected, the Bluetooth connectivity LED on
the modem will blink blue.
