Tablet Edition
This chapter explains how to set up the Socket
Cordless 56K Modem for use with a Windows XP
tablet PC.
The instructions differ depending on which
Bluetooth software your tablet PC is running. To
find out which Bluetooth software your tablet PC is
running, refer to the documentation that came with
your tablet PC.
Note: The instructions in this chapter are based on a Motion Computing
tablet PC running either the Toshiba or Microsoft Bluetooth software. If
you have a different tablet PC that runs a different Bluetooth software,
the setup procedure will be different; refer to Chapter 5 for the general
Windows XP setup instructions..
Setup Summary
STEP 1: Charge the modem.
STEP 2: Prepare dial-up information.
STEP 3: Turn on the Bluetooth radio.
STEP 4: Connect modem and tablet with Bluetooth
STEP 5: Set up your dial-up connection.
