SoftBank 403ZT

Dial-Up Connection (Windows PC)

Phone number and account information for the access point

are required to set a new dial-up connection. Contact internet

service provider (ISP) or network administrator to get

information in advance.

SoftBank 403ZT Utility is not available while connected to the

Internet via a dial-up line.

Also, Internet connection is not available via IPv6 when using

a Windows dial-up connection.

Dial-Up Connection (Windows 8.1)

For Windows 8 users, the screenshots and messages in

Windows 8.1 may differ.

Power on PC and activate operating system

Control Panel Network and Internet Network and

Sharing Center Set up a new connection or network

Select "Connect to the Internet" as a connecting option, then

Dial-up as method

・A device selection dialog box appears if other modems or

terminal adapters are installed. Select USB modem ("Modem -

ZTE Proprietary USB Modem").

Enter phone number and account Information provided by ISP

or network administrator, then Connect

In connection dialog box, Skip Close

In "Network and Sharing Center," Change adapter settings

Select created access point icon, then Properties

In "Options"/"Security"/"Networking"/"Sharing" tabs in

Properties dialog box, configure necessary settings for

connection as provided from ISP or network administrator

In "General" tab in Properties dialog box, check that

"Connection using" is "Modem - ZTE Proprietary USB Modem,"

and that "Phone number" is correctly set as entered in step

, then mark "Use dialing rules," Dialing rules Save/

edit location information, then OK OK in Properties
