Always grasp USB Extension Cable (USB plug)
to disconnect it.
May cause electric shock, fire, etc.
Do not subject USB Extension Cable to strong
shock such as pulling on it while it is plugged
into the PC/outlet.
May cause injury or malfunction.
Grasp USB Extension Cable (USB plug) to unplug
it before cleaning.
May cause electric shock, etc.
When disconnecting USB Extension Cable from
USB modem, do not pull on the cord, hold USB
plug and disconnect it.
The cord gets damaged if it is pulled on, fire and electric
shock, etc. may result because of damaged terminals.
Do not pull, bend with excessive force or twist
USB Extension Cable.
Do not damage or modify USB Extension Cable.
Do not place objects on USB Extension Cable.
Do not expose USB Extension Cable to excessive
heat.
May cause electric shock, overheating or fire.
Do not use AC Charger and USB Extension Cable
if Power plug/Micro USB plug is damaged or the
connection to outlet/PC is loose.
USB Modem Use & Electronic Medical
Equipment
This section based on "Guidelines on the Use of Radio
Communications Equipment such as Cellular Telephones and
Safeguards for Electronic Medical Equipment" (Electromagnetic
Compatibility Conference, August 2014) and "Guidelines for
Prevention of Radio frequency Impact of Various Radio Devices
on Implanted Medical Devices" (Ministry of Internal Affairs
and Communications).
Persons with an implanted pacemaker or
defibrillator should keep USB modem at least
15 cm away from the device.
Radio waves may interfere with implanted pacemakers or
defibrillators.
When using electronic medical equipment
(other than implanted cardiac pacemakers/
defibrillators) outside medical facilities,
check with the equipment manufacturer for
information about the effects of radio waves.
USB modem radio waves may affect electronic medical
equipment.
USB modem radio waves may affect electronic
medical equipment. Observe these guidelines in
medical institutions:
・Follow medical facility rules and do not use or bring USB
modem into prohibited areas.
・Do not take USB modem into operating rooms, or
intensive or coronary care units.
・Even in lobbies or other places where USB modem use
is permitted, keep USB modem off near electronic medical
equipment.
Power off USB modem when it is difficult
to keep distance from others for at least
15 cm such as in a crowd because there may
be someone who is wearing an implanted
pacemaker or defibrillator.
Radio waves may interfere with implanted pacemakers or
defibrillators causing such devices to malfunction.
