What is a
Screed?
According to Merriam-Webster it is “a leveling device drawn
over freshly poured concrete It can also be used on sand for a
paver block patio or walkway.
Today, most screeds are really a 2” X 4” piece of wood
(sometimes) with a level on top that is drawn over concrete or
sand. Clearly, this method is not very accurate.
Screed Level A Screed Level, exclusive to Sola, incorporates the screed
function into a high-wall level. These levels are as short as
39”/100cm and as long as 118”/300cm. Now the surface can be
smoothed and leveled with one accurate tool.
