Firefightersmustwearfireresistantprotectiveequipmentandappropriatebreathingapparatus.Thestaffmust
equip with filtermask (full mask) or isolated breathing apparatus. The staff must wear the clothes which can
defensethefireandthe
toxicgas. Put outthefire inthe upwinddirection.Remove thecontainerto theopen
space as soon as possible. Spray water on the containers in the fireplace to keep them cool until finish
extinguishment.

6. Accidentalreleasemeasures
(a)Personalprecautions,protectiveequipmentandemergencyprocedures
If the battery material is released, remove personnel from area until fume s dissipate. Provide maximum
ventilationtoclearouthazardousgases.Thepre ferredresponseistoleavethearea,disposethecaseafterthe
batteriescool and vapors dissipate.Provide maximum ventilation. Avoid skin and eye contactorinhalationof
vapors.
(b)Methodsandmaterialsforcontainmentandcleaningup
If batteryca sing is dismantled, small amountsof electrolyte may leak. Collect all released materialinaplastic
linedcontainer.Disposeoffaccordingtothelocallawandrules.Avoidleachedsubstancestogetintotheearth,
canalizationorwaters.

7. Handlingandstorage
(a)Precautionsforsafehandling
Always follow the warning information on the batteries and in the manuals of devices. Only use the
recommendedbatterytypes.Keepbatteriesawa yfromchildren.Fordevicestobeusedbychildren,thebattery
casingshouldbeprotectedagainstunauthorizedaccess.Unpackedbatteriesshallnotlieaboutin bulk.In
caseof
batterychangealwaysreplaceallbatteriesbynewonesofidenticaltypeandbrand.Donotswallowbatteries.
Do notthrow batteriesintowa ter.Donot throwbatterie sintofire. Avoiddeepdischarge.Donotshortcircuit
batteriesUserecommendedchargingtimeandcurrent.
(b)Conditionsforsafestorage,
includinganyincompatibilities
Ifthe18650BatteryPackissubjecttostor ageforsuchalongtermasmorethan3months,itisrecommended
torechargethe18650BatteryPackperiodically.Operatingtemperature:Charge:0~45.Discharge:‐20~60
Andrecommendedat‐20~45 for 1monthstorage,
at‐20~35 for3monthsstorage.Thecapacity
recovery rate inthedeliverystate(50%capacityoffullycharged)afterstorageis assumedto be80%ormore.
