Removethescrewssecuringtheinvertertothemountingbracketsandlifttheinverterfromthe
mountingbracket.

NOTE
If you remove the old inverter and do not immediately install a new one, then:
o
Lock the Safety Switch in the OFF position using a lock on the switch.
o
Secure the Safety Switch bracket to the wall/pole, using 3 screws
o
Use insulation tape to isolate each of the AC and DC wires.
o
Seal the open conduits using duct tape.
o
Install the Safety Switch sealing cover supplied with the inverter and secure with retaining clips.
10. Placethenewinverteronthemountingbracketsandsecureitusingthescrews.
11. InsertthewiresfromtheSafetySwitchintotheopeningsintheinverterandtheferritebead.
12. FastenthetwoclipssecuringtheSafetySwitchtotheinverter.
13. Reconnectthecables:FollowtheinstructionsofInstallingtheInverteronpage21.
14. ClosetheinverterandSafetySwitchcovers.
15. PerformthecommissioningstepsasdescribedinActivating,CommissioningandConfiguringtheSystem
UsingtheInverterSetApponpage33.
Replacing the Safety Switch
1. TurnOFFtheinverterON/OFF/Pswitch,andwaituntilthegreenLEDisblinking,indicatingthatthe
DCvoltageissafe(<50V),orwaitfiveminutesbeforecontinuingtothenextstep.
2. TurnOFFtheSafetySwitchandtheACbreakerofthedistributionpanel.
3. OpentheSafetySwitchcover:ReleasethefourAllenscrewsandremovethecover.
