Thank you for choosing a Soleus Air High Velocity Fan. This owner’s manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the proper care and maintenance of your new product. Please take a few moments to thoroughly read the instructions and familiarize yourself with all the operational aspects of your new fan. For your own records, please attach a copy of your sales receipt to this manual.
THREE BLADE SAFETY PLUG WARNING: This fan is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in A. An adapter as shown in C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available. DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE GROUNDED PLUG.
PRODUCT DIAGRAM & ASSEMBLY 1. In this box you will find: 1 - Fan head with Legs attached, 2 - Base Screws, 1 - Base Connector, and 1 - Tilt Knob 2. To assemble the fan, connect the Base Connector to the ends of the legs attached to the fan. 3. Once the Base Connector is attached, use the Base Screws to secure the Base Connector to the Legs. 4. Once the Base Connector is securely attached, you are ready to use the fan.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Set the fan on a stable, level surface. 2. Turn the fan on by turning the control dial located on the back of the fan to the LOW, MED, or HIGH speed positions. 3. To Adjust Airflow Upward or downward: Tilt fan head to the desired angle. This high velocity fan can be used alone or in conjunction with air conditioning. Rotating the fan head upward serves to pull air from the floor and circulate it throughout the entire room. 4. How To Adjust Tilt Insert knob to tilt nut.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE 1. Turn the fan off and unplug the unit. 2. Wipe the fan down with a damp cloth for most efficient operation. 3. Air dry the fan completely before use. 4. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the unit. 5. Do not immerse the fan in any form of liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
WARRANTY One Year Limited Warranty Soleus International Inc. warrants the accompanying Soleus Air FF1-50-53 High Velocity Fan to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation instruction for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of original retail purchase in the United States. If the unit exhibits a defect in normal use, Soleus International Inc.
