Problem Possible cause Solution
Not producing
steam.
Steam / hot water outlet
is clogged.
Water tank is empty.
Steam mode button was
not pressed / steam / hot
water control was not
turned on.
The espresso machine is
faulty.
Clean the steam / hot water outlet and
steaming nozzle.
Fill the water tank.
Press the steam mode button and
wait until it stops blinking. Turn the
steam / hot water control to the maxi-
mum position.
Contact Solis service center.
Hot water function
is not working.
Water tank is empty.
Pre-heating phase was
not completed.
Steam / hot water control
is not turned on.
The espresso machine is
faulty.
Fill the water tank.
Wait untill all buttons are lighting up
constantly.
Turn the steam / hot water control to
the maximum position.
Contact Solis service center.
Coffee is dripping
out of the rim of
the portafilter.
Too much coffee in the
filter insert.
Coffee ground is sticking
to the sealing ring of the
brewing head.
The espresso machine is
faulty.
Make sure to use the correct amount
of coffee.
Turn off the machine, wait until it has
cooled down and then clean the filter
inserts, the portafilter and the brewing
head with its sealing ring.
