General Instructions
During working, keep the worktop clean and dry.Wipe up any splashes or spilt liquids with a dry cloth.
CAUTION: Never place the blender base on a wet surface or cloth.Never let liquids run under or over the base.
If liquids have penetrated into the blender base, immediately unplug the power cord from the socket and have
the appliance checked by an authorized workshop.
CAUTION: Never put your hands or foreign objects (for example: cooking utensils) into the mixing jug when the
jug is mounted on the base.Always switch first to “0”(middle switch position; OFF), and wait until the blades
have stopped turning. Remove the mixing jug from the base before you open the lid to check the contents or to
push the food down.
Only use wooden, rubber, or plastic cooking utensils. Do not use force when you push food down into the jug, or
to loosen food that has become jammed around the blades.
Your blender cannot replace all your kitchen appliances.You cannot mash potatoes, beat egg whites, make
mince meat, or liquidize fruit or vegetables.The appliance is not suitable for very thick types of dough (for
example: yeast dough) or hard ingredients (e.g.: nuts, hard chocolate).
Important note: do not let the remains of food dry onto the appliance. Clean the appliance immediately
after using.
