ROUTINE CARE INSTRUCTIONS For Somerset’s Ultimate™ Finish Somerset Hardwood Flooring features the
latest in surface fi nishing technology. Somerset’s Ultimate™ fi nish is an advanced UV-cured aluminum
oxide fi nish. This combination produces a fi nish with exceptional wear resistance—so your fl oor will stay
looking like-new with minimal effort.

Routine Care
• Sweep or vacuum your hardwood fl oor on a regular basis just as you would any fl oor covering.
• Clean up spills with Somerset’s Ultimate™ Wood Floor Cleaner which is specially formulated for
the Ultimate fi nish. This product should also be used for general cleaning, as needed.
Somerset’s Specially-Formulated Care Products
We recommend using Somerset Floor Care Products to maintain the beauty of your fl oor. Somerset’s Ultimate™
Wood Floor Cleaner has been developed to protect and maintain the Ultimate™ fi nish. This cleaner has been
specially-formulated for the easy cleaning and care of fl ooring in Somerset’s Color, High Gloss, Homestyle,
American Country, Character, Southern Antiques, Specialty, and Value Collections. The use of other products
not formlated for your Somerset fl oor may damage your fl oor, and void the warranty (see Somerset’s Limited
Warranty for complete details).
Repair/Refi nishing
Minor surface scratches can be repaired using the Somerset Touch-Up Kit designed for your fl oor color. Touch-Up Kits
are available from the dealer or installer from whom you purchased your Somerset fl oor, or directly from

Floors that have been damaged from years of wear and tear or neglect can be restored to their original beauty
by a professional wood fl ooring fi nisher.
If your decorating needs change over the years, your 3/4” solid or 1/2” engineered fl oor can be refi nished to a new
color to complement your new decor. Again, we recommend this be done by a professional wood fl ooring fi nisher.
By properly caring for your fl oor and following basic preventative maintenance tips and common sense, you can
keep your fl oor looking new for years, delaying and possibly eliminating the need for major refi nishing or repair.
