DAB1 DISTRIBUTED AUDIO SYSTEM
Creating a New DAB1 System
1. Launch SONANCE CONTROL MANAGER. An empty SONANCE CONTROL MANAGER screen will
appear.
2. Open the F
ILE menu and select NEW to create a new system. Choose a name for the
system and save it.
3. The A
DD
DEVICE box (
Figure 36 ) will appear. Select DAB1. The D
EVICE screen

Figure 37 ) will appear.
4. Open the D
EVICE
menu and select GENERAL SETUP
. The GENERAL SETUP screen (
Figure 38 )
will appear.
• Check the box if you want to activate the Paging function for this DAB1
(see page 17).
• If the system will incorporate more than one DAB1, use the drop-down box to assign a different U
NIT ID number to each
DAB1.
5. If the system will have multiple DAB1s, repeat Steps 3 & 4 for each unit in the system.
• See pages 16 – 17 for information about linking the S
YNC connections, PAGING connections and IR connections of
multiple DAB1s together in a system.
