Soundbar Connectors for Wall Mount Brackets Run three sets of speaker wires: Left channel, Center channel, Right channel as well as the necessary video cable from the amplifier to the display location. Whenever possible leave extra wire to make it easy to connect the wire to the Soundbar spring terminals prior to hanging the display. Extra wire can then be pushed back into the wall. Choose and attach the correct soundbar connector to the display attachment rails for your desired depth.
Option 2 - Recessed Soundbar Connector The recessed Soundbar connector will align with displays from 1 7/32” (31.74mm) to 2 3/32” (53mm) deep displays. Various depths can be accomplished by using C. or D. screws accompanied by I. washers and G. nuts. Use the A. screws to attached the connector to the display attachment rails.
Assembling and Connecting the Attachment Rails Position the soundbar as close to display as possible. Firmly fasten B. screws with I. washers to connect soundbar to the soundbar connectors. Carefully place the display face down on a soft flat surface. This will require two people. Place the Soundbar face down and position it as close to the display as possible.
Adjusting Grille Width Wiring The Soundbar (All Models) We suggest leaving extra wire length to make it easy to connect the wire to the Soundbar spring terminals prior to mounting the display. The extra wire can then be pushed back into the wall. NOTE: FOR ADJUSTABLE WIDTH SOUNDBAR MODELS ONLY: SB46 L |SB46 M 1. Strip 1/4” – 1/2” (6 – 12mm) of insulation from each speaker lead. Twist the strands or tin the exposed wire with solder to ensure that there are no stray strands.
To hang key hole wall mount use only #10 - #12 pan head or flat head screws (not supplied). The screws must be firmly attached to the studs to support the weight of the soundbar. Align the screw heads into the large round portion of the key hole and gently slide into place. Option 3 - Key Hole Wall Mount Sonance Soundbars can be mounted directly to the wall surface. Choose the soundbar location and identify the studs in the wall with a stud finder.
Mounting The Display Dimensions Carefully mount the display and Soundbar to the third party TV wall mount. This will require two people. When lifting be careful not to place too much pressure on, or twist, the Soundbar. This could bend the attachment rails.
LIMITED WARRANTY Sonance warrants to the first end-user purchaser that this Sonance-brand product (“Product”), when purchased from an authorized Sonance Dealer/Distributor, will be free from defective workmanship and materials for five (5) years, except for the grille, which is warranted for one (1) year. Sonance will at its option and expense either repair the defect or replace the Product with a new or remanufactured Product or a reasonable equivalent.
