Managing Wireless and Network Settings
paired devices:
Transfer media les and contacts between mobile
devices connected using Bluetooth.
Access Internet through a Bluetooth device that is
connected to a Wi-Fi router.
Use Bluetooth connected headphones for playing
media le.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device
To activate Bluetooth and pair your XP7 phone with other
Bluetooth devices:
1. From the Home or All app screen, tap on Settings
( ).
2. Enable Bluetooth, located under Wireless &
Networking settings.
Ensure XP7700 is visible to all near by Bluetooth
devices.
3. Press and hold Bluetooth to search and add other
Bluetooth enabled devices.
4. Tap on Search for devices. A list of accessible
Bluetooth devices are displayed.
Ensure that Bluetooth is activated in the other device
too.
5. Select and tap on your preferred device.
6. Conrm the pass key in the other device and tap on
Pair in your phone.
The device will be displayed in the Paired device
list.
Editing Bluetooth Device Settings
1. Tap on Bluetooth settings located under Bluetooth.
On Search for Devices screen, select Rename
Device to rename your phone device.
2. Select Visibility Timeout to set to your device.
3. Select Show received les to view the les received
via Bluetooth.
Editing Paired Bluetooth Device Settings
1. Tap and hold Bluetooth to view the list of Bluetooth
paired devices.
2. Tap on Settings icon ( ) located next to the
preferred paired Bluetooth device.
3. Tap on Rename to rename the display of the device
name.
4. Tap on Unpair to remove the device from your
paired list.
5. Enable Media audio to connect the Bluetooth
device for listening to media les.
6. Enable Internet access to use the paired Bluetooth
device to access the Internet.
Optimizing Data Usage
Data usage refers to the amount of data utilized by
your phone during data transfers through Internet. The
data usage charges are dependent of the wireless plan
provided by your service provider.
To monitor your data usage, adjust your data usage
settings.
