Managing Messages
Delivery report Receive a confirmation report

Write Message
You can create SMS and MMS messages.
SMS Messages
1. To create a SMS message, open the phone.
2. Select Menu > Messages > Text message > Write
message.
3. Enter the message in the text pane. The text input
mode is displayed at the top left of the screen. Press
and release # to select the appropriate text input
mode (refer “Text Input Mode” on page 44).
4. Enter the message and select Options. The
following options are displayed:
Options Function
Send You can send the message.
Clear field Clear the contents in the
message pane.
Insert contact Select and add a contact from
the phonebook, to the message.
Insert number Select and add a number from
the phonebook, to the message.
Insert symbol Select the required symbol to
include in the message.
Mark text Mark a part of the message text,
to copy and paste.
Mark all Mark the complete message, to
copy and paste.
Writing
language
Select the input languages.
Paste Paste the copied text at a
specic location.
Save as draft Save the message as a draft.
