STORAGE
1. From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings
( ) > Storage ( ).
2. On Internal shared storage, the following options
are displayed with memory used for each app:
• Photos and videos
• Music and audio
• Other apps
• Files
• System
3. Select Options key ( ) > Free up space to free
the space from the storage.
SECURITY AND LOCATION SETTINGS
DEVICE SECURITY
You can activate and protect your phone from
unauthorized access by conguring the security settings.
1. From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings
( ) > Security & location ( ) .
2. The following options are displayed under Device
Security.
• Select Screen lock and select one of the following
options to congure the phone:
• None
• Press and hold ( ) key
• PIN: When enabled, enter you own PIN value.
When the phone is locked, unlock it using the PIN.
When the phone is locked, you can answer an
incoming call without unlocking the phone.
• Enable On ip close to lock the side keys.
3. The following options are displayed under
Privacy:
• Set the Location to ON status. Mode option is
enabled. Select any one the following options:
• High accuracy
• Battery saving
• Device only
• App-level permissions: You can set the
permission to the desired apps.
• Scanning: Enable Wi-Fi scanning to improve
location by allowing system apps and services
to detect Wi-Fi networks at any time. Enable
Bluetooth scanning to improve location by
allowing system apps and services to detect
Bluetooth devices at any time.
• You can also view the apps which have requested
location recently under Recent location
requests.
• Show passwords: Enable this option to display the
password characters as you type in.
• Device admin apps: Select the apps and activate
the device admin apps.
• SIM card lock:
• Lock SIM card: To use this option, you have to
set a PIN number to unlock the device.
• Encryption & credentials:
• Encryption: Select Encrypt phone to encrypt
your accounts, settings, app and their settings,
media and other les. Select ENCRYPT PHONE.
• Credential storage:
• Storage type: Displays the storage type.
• Trusted credentials: You can view and verify the
system and user certicates.
