SENDING MESSAGES
MESSAGE SETTINGS
1. From Home screen, select Messaging ( ).
2. Select Option key > Setting. The following
settings are displayed:

NOTIFICATION
Vibrate Enable vibrate alert for incoming
messages.
Pop-up Alert Enable to view received message as
a pop-up.
DISPLAY
Group
notication
message
Enable this notication message to
auto combine the notication into
one group.
STORAGE
Delete old
messages
Delete old messages automatically
when the storage limit is reached.
Text message
limit
Set the maximum number of SMS
messages to be stored. By default,
1000 messages can be stored.
Multimedia
message limit
Set the maximum number of MMS
messages to be stored. By default,
1000 messages can be stored.
Memory status Shows the memory used for SMS,
MMS and the total memory used.
STORAGE DAYS
Delete old
messages
Enable to delete old messages
automatically as days are reached.
Messages
expiry days
You can set the number of days for
message expiry.
ADVANCED SETTINGS
Text (SMS) messages settings
Message
template
Edit the quick message template.
Manage SIM
card messages
Manages the messages in the SIM
card located under Text Messages.
Enable WAP
PUSH Service
Enable to receive service message.
Multimedia (MMS) messages settings
Group
messaging
Enable and use MMS to send a
single message when there are
multiple recipients.
Creation mode You can set the mode for creating
MMS message. Select one of the
modes: Restricted, Warning and
Free.
On Message Settings screen, select Option key >
Restore default settings. The default settings are
restored.
DELETING MESSAGES
To delete all the messages,
1. From Home screen, select Messaging ( ).
2. Select the message and press Option key >
Delete selected thread or select a message
thread and press Clear key ( )
3. A conrmation message is displayed. Select
Delete to delete the selected message.
4. To delete an individual conversation, select the
conversation to be deleted and select Delete
option and conrm the choice.
