MANAGING DEVICE SETTINGS
APPS & NOTIFICATIONS
APPS INFO
1. From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings
( ) > Apps & Notications ( ).
2. Select Apps info.
The list of apps installed on the device are displayed.
3. You can search the desired app using the search
tab.
4. Select Options key ( ) and the following
options are displayed:
• Show system: System based apps are displayed.
• Hide system: System based apps are hidden.
• Reset app preferences: You can reset all
preferences you set for the apps.
NOTIFICATIONS
1. From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings
( ) > Apps & Notications ( ).
2. Select Notications.
3. Select App notications. Select the desired app
and turn on the notication.
4. Select Notication volume. You can adjust the
notication volume as per your desired level.
5. Select Default notication sound. Select the
desired ringtone from the list. You can also add a
new ringtone using Add ringtone ( ).
6. Enable Notication blink light. You can enable/
disable this option.
If there is any notication in your device or missed
any calls, a notication blink light glows on the
secondary display of your device to notify you.
7. Enable Flash notication alert. When battery is
above 20% level, you can use camera ash light
for missed events.
8. Enable Flash call alert to use ash light for
incoming voice call.
APP PERMISSIONS
1. From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings
( ) > Apps & Notications ( ).
2. Select App permissions.
App permissions govern what your app is allowed to
do and access.
EMERGENCY ALERTS
From Home screen, select Menu ( ) > Settings ( )
> Apps & Notications ( ).
• Alerts:
• Allow alerts: Toggle this option to receive
wireless emergency alert messages.
• Presidential alerts: These alerts mandatory and
always turned ON. This is an emergency alert
system which allows the US president to address
the country in the event of national emergency.
• AMBER Alerts: Enable this option to get the child
abduction and emergency bulletins.
• Extreme threats: Enable this option to get the
extreme threat alerts to life and property. For
example; Tsunami, Tornado, Extreme wind,
Hurricane and Typhoon warnings.
• Severe threats: Enable this option to get the
severe threat alerts to life and property. For
example; Storm surge, Flash ood and Dust storm
warnings.
• Alert Preferences:
• Vibrate: Enable this option to set the device on
vibrate during alert.
• Alert sound duration: You can set the following
time duration for alert sound duration: 2 seconds,
4 seconds, 6 seconds, 8 seconds and 10
seconds.
• Additional Language Alert: Enable this option to
get the display of alerts in additional languages.
• Preview ringtone and vibration: You can hear
the ringtone set for the alert.
• Settings for India:
• Show channel 60 broadcasts: Channel 60 is
used in India for Operator specic information.
