• Remove/Strip wood forms
and stakes at footing
• Secure strapping cleats to
wood footing form to
receive construction tube
• Cut construction tube to
required height
• Connect/Secure construction
tube to cleats with 1” screws
• Plumb/level construction tube
as you backll around tube
with shovel or backhoe
• Pour concrete into tube
• Finish top of concrete
• Insert brackets or anchor
bolts at top of construction
tube as required

• Remove bracing
• Cut off part of construction
tube visible above ground

• Excavate/Dig Hole with shovel or
Backhoe
• Cut Construction Tube to required height
• Set Construction Tube on Tubebase to
determine proper t
• Cut off excess plastic at top of wedges/
rings being used
• Screw Construction Tube to Tubebase
with 4 1” screws
• Install rebar if required (see example)
• Place combined Tubebase &
Construction Tube in hole on undisturbed
soil or 4” to 6” of crushed stone
• Plumb/Align prior and during backlling
• Brace top of construction tube if required
(Above Ground)
• Backll - Avoid dropping rocks or heavy
soil directly on Tubebase
• Invert another Tubebase and use as
funnel when pouring concrete
• Insert brackets or anchor bolts at top of
construction tube as required
