8.2 Alarm function through FM-radio, iPod, iRadio or buzzer
1. Press the ALARM button at the top of the device until the alarm setting function appears.
2. Select the entry source with the UP or DOWN buttons and conrm the selection by pressing
the menu button.
3. In the top right corner of the display, you will see the currently set playback source for the
alarm function under the letters NOW.

4. You have the choice between:
FM The device will sound the alarm with the set FM station.
iRadio The device will sound the alarm with most recently set iRadio station.
iPod The device will sound the alarm with the most recently heard track on the
iPod.
Beep You will hear the alarm with a classic alarm sound.
NOTE
If you have selected the iPod playback as a source for the alarm but no iPod is
connected, you will hear the beep sound.
If the device is in playback mode when the alarm goes off, the beep sound will
also be activated, regardless of which source you have selected.
4. Select the desired medium that you would like to be woken with. When you select FM or
iRadio and have nished setting one of these as the playback source, you have the option
of selecting a station stored as one of your favorites (FM section 11.2, iRadio section). To
conrm the entry, press the menu button.
5. After conrming the selected level, the device automatically returns to the previous menu.
To exit the menu, press the BACK button repeatedly until you have returned to the desired
menu item or wait approx. 10 seconds until the device automatically returns to the start
menu.
8.3 Setting the volume of the alarm
1. Press the ALARM button at the top of the device until the alarm setting function appears.
2. Select the volume entry with the UP or DOWN buttons and conrm the selection by pressing
the menu button.
