The SIM card contains a computer chip that keeps track of your phone number, the services included in your subscription, and your phone book information, among other things. A PIN (Personal Identity Number) code is supplied with the SIM card from your operator and must be entered when switching on your P800.

In list view, there is a super-folder called All, which, when selected, displays items from all folders. All is the default value in list views and when an application is first launched. Calling is displayed until a line has been allocated. When the line has been allocated, Connecting is displayed. The call log allows you to check the P800's data on calls made, received, rejected, or missed. The log keeps track of date, time, length, and cost information (if available) of each call.
