Thank you for choosing this Sony product. Before operating the set, please read
these instructions thoroughly to ensure your personal safety and prevent property
damage and retain it for future reference.
Warning
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not
expose this product to rain or moisture.
The product must never be exposed to dripping,
splashing or spilling liquids of any kind.
Important Safety Instructions

Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding
type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or
the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution
when moving the cart/ apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-
over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply
cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen
into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture,
does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
BATTERIES
This product has a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery.
Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or
the like.
When the rechargeable battery leaks, do not touch it with bare hands.
When not using for a long time, charge once every six months to
prevent batter deterioration.
Do not charge the product using an AC adaptor or micro USB cable other
than those supplied.
INSTALLATION
This product should be installed near an easily accessible AC power outlet.
Do not install the product in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in
cabinet.
USAGE
Do not place this product close to medical devices
This product contains magnet(s) which may interfere with pacemakers,
programmable shunt valves for hydrocephalus treatment, or other medical
devices. Do not place this device close to such medical devices or persons who
use such medical devices. Consult your doctor before using this product if you
use any such medical device.
Keep out of the reach of children or the supervised individuals.
This product (including accessories) has magnet(s). Swallowing magnet(s)
could cause serious harm, such as choking hazard or intestinal injuries. If
magnets (or a magnet) were swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Do not use the product if you have strange feeling such as
itchiness, rashes, eczema, flushing or the like
Stop using the product if you feel that the product is not suitable for your
skin. Consult a doctor, Sony sales representative, or your dealer.
Do not put the product in fire. Do not disassemble or heat up the product.
Do not leave the product near fire, in a place exposed to direct sunlight, or in
a car under the scorching sun. Do not use, store, or leave the product at a
high-temperature place.
CAUTION
Do not install/use this product in locations, environments or situations such as
those listed below, or the product may malfunction and cause a fire, electric
shock, damage and/or injuries.
Location:
Outdoors (in direct sunlight), at the seashore, on a ship or other vessel, inside a
vehicle, in medical institutions, unstable locations, near water, rain, moisture or
smoke.
Environment:
Places that are hot, humid, or excessively dusty; where insects may enter; where
it might be exposed to mechanical vibration, near flammable objects (candles,
etc.). This product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects
filled with liquids.
To prevent electric shock and blade exposure, do not use this AC plug with an
extension cord, receptacle or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted.
Operate this product only on 110 V 240 V AC (U.S.A./Canada 120 V AC)
CHARGING
Never insert USB plug when the product or charging cable is wet
condition
When the USB plug is inserted in a wet condition, a short circuit occurs due to
the liquid (tap water, salt water, refreshing drink etc.) attached to the main unit
and charging cable or foreign matter, it may cause abnormal heat generation
or malfunction.
This product has a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery.
Do not expose the product to extreme low or high temperature conditions
(temperature outside the range of 5 °C 35 °C (41 °F 95 °F)) that may result in
overheating and thermal runaway. The product may automatically stop to protect
internal circuitry. At high temperature, the charging may stop or the volume may
reduce to protect the battery.
Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries. In the event of a
cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If
contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water
and seek medical advice. Secondary batteries need to be charged before use.
Always refer to the instruction manual for proper charging instructions. After
extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the
cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
Dispose of properly.
Avoid playing the unit at so loud a volume that extended play might affect
your hearing.
