Recording to the HDD (“Freeview+”)
To search for programmes by genre
(Genre)
1 Press the yellow button (“Genre”) while
the programme list is displayed.
2 Select a genre using M/m, and press .
Programmes that belong to the selected
genre are displayed in the programme
list.
To stop recording during timer recording
Press x REC STOP.
Note that it may take a few seconds for the
recorder to stop recording.

• To cancel the timer recording, select the
programme set for timer recording, and press the
red button (“Cancel”).
• You can display the favourite channels set in the
Favourites List on the EPG display (page 47).
• This recorder automatically adjusts the start/end
recording time for the programme set for EPG
timer recording even if the start/end time of the
programme has changed.
Recording Programmes
Using Series Recording
(Models for the UK Only)
Series Recording is a feature which allows
you to automatically record programmes in a
series, using the information from the EPG.
You can also search for programmes related
to the timer settings.

This function cannot be used when the broadcaster
does not include series information with the
programme data.
1 Press GUIDE.
2 Select a programme containing
series information using </M/m/
,.
The blue button (“Series Info.”) in the
on-screen display is activated when the
selected programme has series
information.
3 Press the blue button (“Series
Info.”).
The Series Information display appears.
“Recommended list”:
Press the yellow button (“Recommend”)
when the “Recommend” button in the
on-screen display is activated.
The event is recommended by
broadcaster as a link for current series.
Note that recommended programmes
will not be automatically set for
recording with Series Recording.
