Before your operation
Switching between the LCD monitor and
viewfinder (OVF)
You can select either the LCD monitor (Live View) or the viewfinder
(OVF) to shoot images.
LIVE VIEW: Monitors subjects using the
LCD monitor.
OVF: Monitors subjects using the
viewfinder. On the LCD monitor, the
recording information is displayed
instead.
Adjusting the focus of the finder (diopter adjustment)
In viewfinder mode, adjust the
diopter-adjustment dial to your
eyesight until the display appears
clearly in the viewfinder.
• Training the camera on a light allows you to
adjust the diopter easily.
• When the indicators do not appear clearly,
even if you adjust the diopter, it is
recommended that you use a dioptic
adjustment attachment (sold separately).
