Before connecting the AC power cord (mains
lead) of this system to a wall outlet (mains),
connect the speakers to the system (page 14).

To turn on the system
Press I,'@.
To turn off the system
Press I/(_). The system enters standby :node.
While playing a disc, do not mm off the system
by pressing Ii(_). Doing so may cancel the mem:
settings. When you turn off the system, first
press • to stop playback and then press I/(_).

panel display. When you press I/(_) on the
remote, the demonstration turns oft'.

• When you press Ii(} on the system, the demonstration
does not tmn off.
• When you set the demonsuation mode in the ,a3Vip
Tllenu to o!1 the demonstration does not turn off even
though you press |/_) on the ren:ote. To nu:: off the
demonstration, set the demonstration mode to oft;
then press |/(_) on the remote

Press AMP MENU,
Press _,/4, repeatedly until "DEMO"
appears in the front panel display, then
press ENTER or ->.
Press i'/4, to select the setting.
• DEMO OFF: sets the demonstration :node
off.
• DEMO ON: sets the demonstration mode
on.
Press ENTER or AMP MENU.
The AMP menu turns off.
