"RESUME" appears in the front panel
display, so you can restart the disc from the
point where you stopped the disc.
If "RESUME" does not appear, Resume
Play is not available.
2 Press D>.
The system starts playback from the point
where you stopped the disc in Step 1.
• If [MULTI-DISC RESUME] in [CUSTOM SETUP]
is set to [OFF] (page 75), the resume point is cleared
when you ctmnge the flmction by pressing
FL_qCTION.
• The point where you stopped playing may be cleared
when:
you change the play mode.
you change tile settings on the Setup Display
• For DVD-RWs in VR mode, CDs, and DATA CDs,
the system remembers tile restune playback point for
the ctment disc.
The resume point is cleared when:
you opened the disc tray.
t_u disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead).
the system enters standby mode (DATA CD only).
• Resmne Play does not work dming Program Play and
Shuffle Play
• This fimction may not work with some discs
• Depending on where you stop the disc, the system
may not resume playback from exactly the same
point.
• To play from the beginning of the disc, p_ess • twice,
then press
To enjoy a disc that is played
before by resume playback
(Multi-disc Resume)
(DVD VIDEO, VIDEO CO only)
This system stores the point where you stopped
the disc lbr up to 40 discs and resumes playback
the next inne you insert the same disc. If you
store a resume playback point lbr the 41 st disc,
the resume playback point for the first disc is
deleted.
To activate this function, set [MULTI-DISC
RESUME] in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [ON]. For
details, see "[MULTI-DISC RESUME] (DVD
VIDEO/VIDEO CD only)" (page 75).
• If [MULTI-DISC RESUME] in [CUSTOM SETUP]
is set to [ON] (page 75) and you playback a recorded
disc such as DVD-RW, the system may playback
othe! recorded discs from tile same resmne point. To
play from the beginning, press • twice and then p_ess
Creating your own program
(Program Play)
(VIDEO CD, CD only)
You can play _e contents of a disc in the order
you want by arranging the order of the tracks on
the disc m create your own program. You can
program up to 99 tracks.
• You can program the track on the cunent disc only

2 Press '1"/4,to select
[PROGRAM], then press ENTER,
The options for [PROGRAM] appear.
3 Press't'/,l, to select [SET --_], then
press ENTER.
