Selecting the connected
component
You Call use a VCR or other compollents
connected to the TV/VCR 1 or 2 jacks on the
rear panel. Refer to the operation manual
supplied with the components lbr further
inlormatiou on the operation.
Press FUNCTION +/- repeatedly until "TW
VCRI"or "TV/VCR2"appears in the front
panel display,
Each time 2rou press FUNCTION +/ . the mode
of the system changes in the IMlowing sequence.
DVD ---+ TUNER FM ---+TUNER AM ---+ XM
---+TV/VCR 1 ---+TV/VCR2 ---+ AUDIO ---+ ...
When you use both the TV/VCR 1(AUDIO IN) jacks
(analog connection) and TV/VCR 1(DIGITAL IN
COAXIAL)jack (digital connection), or the TV/
VCR 2 (AUDIO IN)jacks (analog connection) and
TV/VCR 2 (OPTICAL DIGITAL IN)jack (digital
connection) at the same time, the digital connection
takes priority.
Changing the input level of
the sound from connected
components
Distortion may occur when listening to a
component connected to the TV/VCR 1 or 2
,jacks on the rear of the unit or to the AUDIO IN
,jack on the front panel. This is not a mallunction
and will depend on the component connected.
To prevent this. you Call chauge the input level
from the sound of the other components.
1 Press FUNCTION +/- repeatedly until
"TV/VCRI," "TV/VCR2," or "AUDIO"
appears in the front panel display.
Press AMP MENU.

3 Press .I,14,repeatedly until
"ATTENUATE" appears in the front
panel display, then press C) or -->.
4 Press .1-/4,to select a setting,
ATT ON: atlenuales lhe inpul level. The
ou[pul level is changed.
ATT OFF: normal input level.
5 Press @.
The selling is reflecled.
6 Press AMP MENU.
The AMP menu lures off.
