Selecting channels by
inputting the channel number
directly (Direct Tuning)
1 Press FUNCTION +/- repeatedly until
"XM" appears in the front panel
display.
Press D.TUNING.

Enter the channel number using the
number buttons.
Press @.
The selected channel is tune in.
• When you select channels by Direcl Tuning Ihe
category mode is aulomalically sel Io "ALL CAT."
Displaying the XM Radio
information in the front panel

Press DISPLAY repeatedly.
Each time you press DISPLAY while tuning in
the channel, the display changes (!) --+ @ --+ ...
--+ 1_) --+
@ Channel name
@ Channel number
@ Category
@ Artist name/Feature
(_) Song/Program title
You can select the channels you want directly' by
presetting them using the preset numbers.
You can preset up to 30 XM Radio channels.
Presetting channels
1 Press FUNCTION +/- repeatedly until
"XM" appears in the front panel
display.
Tune in the channel you want to preset.
For details on selecting channels, see
"Listening to the XM Radio" (page 58).
3 Press MENU.
"Memory?" appears in Ihe front panel
display.
4 Press @.
5 Press PRESET +/- to select the preset
number you want.
Preset nurnbers frorn 1 to 30 are available,
and channel 1 is preset for all the presel
numbers when you purchase Ihe unit.
6 Press @.
The channel is stored as the selected preset
number.
Repeat 2 to 6 to preset another
channel.
To change the preset number
Restart from Step l.

preset number you want.
You can also select the number b> pressing
the PRESET + or -.
