The compact camera displays error code

beginning with E:**, C:**, or System error

The handling differs depending on the displayed error.

Check how to handle the concerned error.

 C:13:01

Error is displayed when you are using the internal memory

Abnormality occurs in the internal memory.

Turn off the power and turn it on again.

If the situation is not improved, format the internal memory after backing up the stored

data.

WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the internal memory, all

stored images will be deleted including protected ones.

Error is displayed when you are using a memory card

Abnormality occurs in the memory card.

o Turn off the camera, then insert and remove the memory card several times. After

that, turn on the camera again.

o Insert another memory card.

o When you are using a memory card used on your PC, backup the stored data and

format the memory card with the camera.

WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. When you format the memory card,

all stored images will be deleted including protected ones?



 System error and C:32:01

1. Check whether the memory card is supported by the camera.

C:13:01 may be displayed when you shoot large data images such as movies.?

The power does not turn ON even if the battery pack or AC adapter is attached. The following are the possible causes why the camera is not turning on even if the battery pack or AC adapter is attached. When using an AC adapter and USB cable    Check whether the AC adapter and power cord are firmly connected to the main body and to the electrical outlet.

Select your camera's model name in Product Name then select Power from Category to display compatible batteries and chargers. Select your battery type and check following the procedures. N, D, T, R, K, X, G battery H, V, W, M battery Step 1. Check if the battery is inserted in the right direction. Step 2. If the CHARGE/Charge lamp flashes or does not light, the terminal may be dirty or there may be a problem with the battery. Wipe off the dirty terminal with a dry cloth, then charge the battery again.

The battery drains quickly. Check the following concerning handling of the battery.      Battery performance temporarily declines when used in cold temperatures, reducing the time that it can be used. To get more operating time out of the battery when cold, warm it up in a pocket or the like, and then reattach it to the camera just before shooting. The battery drains quicker if you frequently perform operations such as flash and zoom photography or shoot movies.

Is the battery pack always charging while the camera is connected to a computer or the supplied AC adaptor via a USB cable? Turn off the camera before you start charging the battery pack. If the camera is turned on, charging will not start. NOTE: An AC adaptor is not supplied with some models.
