2 Press or to select “MIC IN”
and then press .

and start recording.
The built-in microphone is
automatically cut o.
If the input level is not strong enough,
adjust the microphone sensitivity and/
or recording level on the IC recorder.
When a plug in power type
microphone is connected, power
is automatically supplied to the
microphone from the IC recorder.
When the IC recorder is not in the
stop mode
Select “MIC IN” using the menu by
selecting “DETAIL MENU” - “SELECT INPUT”
- “MIC IN” (page 55).
Recommended microphones
You can use the Sony ECM-CS10 or ECM-CZ10
electret condenser microphone (not supplied).
Recording from Other
Equipment

1 Connect other equipment to the IC
recorder when the IC recorder is in
the stop mode.
Connect the audio output connector
(stereo mini-plug) of other equipment
to the (microphone) jack of the IC
recorder using an audio connecting
cable*.
“SELECT INPUT” appears in the display
window.
