Troubleshooting
Symptom Remedy
The operation indicator
does not light.
“LED” is set to “OFF” (page 53). Display the menu and set “LED”
to “ON”.
“MEMORY FULL” is
displayed and you cannot
start recording.
The memory is full. Erase some of the messages (page 43) or
erase all lthe messages after you store them on your computer.
“FILE FULL” is displayed
and you cannot operate
the IC recorder.
999 messages have been recorded in the selected folder or
1012 messages (when there are 5 folders) in total have been
recorded. Therefore you cannot record another message, or
move or divide a message. Erase some of the messages (page
43) or erase all the messages after you store them on your
computer.
You cannot add a
recording or an overwrite
recording.
As a factory setting, “ADD/OVER” in the menu is set to “OFF.”
Display the menu and change “ADD/OVER” to “ADD” or “OVER”
(page 53).
The remaining memory capacity is insucient. The overwritten
part will be deleted after the overwriting part nishes
recording. Therefore, you can only overwrite within the
remaining recording time.
You cannot add a recording or an overwrite recording to MP3
les.
Recording is interrupted. The advanced VOR function (page 26) is activated. Set “VOR” to
“OFF” in the menu (page 51).
