Operating
The IC recorder does not operate correctly.
Take out the battery and insert it again.
You may have formatted the memory of the IC recorder using the computer.
Use the IC recorder formatting function to format the memory (
p. 76).
T
he operation indicator does not light.
“LED” is set to “OFF.
Display the menu and set “LED” to “ON” (
p. 74).
Recording
You cannot record a file.
Th
e remaining memory capacity is insufficient.

ou cannot record a file when you select a folder in the playback-only area (the
tab and the
tab).
Recording is interrupted.
Th
e VOR function is activated. When you are not using the VOR function, set
“VOR” to “OFF” in the menu (
p. 31).
The VOR function does not work.

uring synchronized recording, the VOR function does not work.
When recording from other equipment, the input level is too strong or not strong
enough.
C
onnect the headphone jack of other equipment to the (microphone) jack of the
IC recorder and adjust the volume level on the piece of equipment connected to the
IC recorder.
