Menu Item Settings (*: Default setting)

Settings
Battery Setting For optimum operations, you can select the type of batteries you
are using for the linear PCM recorder.
Alkaline Battery*: Select this option if using alkaline batteries.
NiMH Battery: Select this option if using rechargeable NiMH
batteries.
Function Key Setting By registering frequently-used functions to the F1 and F2 buttons,
you can quickly access these functions and display the setting
windows with just pressing the F1 or F2 key (page 61).
F1: LIMITER*
F2: LCF(Low Cut)*
Reset All Settings You can reset the menu items to their default settings.
Yes: “Please wait” appears, and the menu settings are reset.
No: Menu items are not initialized.
Note
The following menu items are not initialized: Protect, Select Memory,
Date&Time
Format You can format the memory media currently selected (the built-in
memory or the memory card), erasing all of the data in the memory
and resetting the folder structure to its default status. Be sure to
confirm whether the currently selected memory is the built-in
memory or the memory card, and then select “Yes.
Notes
Do not use your computer to format the media.
If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be erased.
(Protected files are also erased.) Note that once the files are erased, you
cannot retrieve them.
System Information You can check the system information such as the linear PCM
recorder model name, the free memory space of the linear PCM
recorder and a memory card, and the version number of the
software. You can scroll through the display by pressing
and .
